I think the thing I'm most excited about is the organization. Even with the "Get Everything" option, it sounds like it will be much easier to find what you are looking for. Lots of great things coming.

I had a good conversation with Adam this morning. His current site evolved and wasn't really planned. Heck, when he started this 7+ years ago, he had no idea what it would grow into. He has listened to his users and has some great ideas.
I agree…
Thanks. I wasn't actually looking for help, I figured it out fairly easily once I found the process it was linked to, but the assistance is always appreciated.
Yes. So what I'm hearing is that I should go ahead and download the database and figure out what I need to do to install it. It should improve some gradient corrections in certain parts of the sky if I'm using the correct process.

Since there is already a thread on this, I'm going to put my question here. Is there a reason to download this database if I'm using PixInsight online? No, I don't have a HDD space issue. I just don't see a reason to maintain something locally if…
Personally, I see no reason to download things. It just eats local disk space when it could be living on the cloud. Sure, it might be nice to have the occasional video available offline, but do I really want 50 of them? Not really.
The tiers wer…
Hmmmm....The danger that you run into is trying to avoid people thinking that you are nickel and diming them to death. That being said, the current structure has an organization issue in that there is so much there that it is hard to find what you …
The fact that you can use STF to change the display of stretched images is what finally lit off the lightbulb in my head. You didn't have to use a preview image for it like you did the others.
Thanks. That helps.
Thanks. I have even less experience with NB than I do with other forms of image processing. I may experiment a bit when I actually get around to processing the data.
Hmmm...OK, then how about the reverse. Say I'm creating a L+Narrow Band image. Should I use the RGB data in the Super Luminance? Or do you not bother with a Super Luminance at all when doing Narrow Band?
Wade - I only tried my one machine, but it is repeatable on it. I've only tried the one image as well, so I'm unsure if the problem is somehow related to that single dataset or not.
Adam - I've been scratching my head over that as well. To be hon…
Wade/Adam,
Thank you both. I've done a couple of days of troubleshooting and scratching my head over this and finally figured out what was causing the problem even if I have no idea why.
I looked at all of the software and everything was updated.…
Just for anybody else who is having this issue and getting the same code, additional research seems to indicate that this is some kind of a software issue that is usually corrected by either a Windows or other software program update. Since I'm pos…
Thank you. Some additional information. I didn't post the entire run because it does start to run the routine (it does the preprocessing). When I turned on the Simplified model, it will run just fine so long as the Model Degree is set to 1. Howe…
Thank you for the advice. I have noticed on several occasions where one process appears to make an image worse, but you are really setting things up for a follow-on process or script to be more effective. Like you said, it will take some experienc…
I'll go back and see if you've added anything to FastTrack since I watched it (about 6 weeks ago). I've learned enough to be dangerous so what I'm doing at the moment is using my own data (an image of M13 shot with my Club's imaging setup) and work…
Thank you for the response. I think the issue here is really different kinds of images. When I'm shooting and processing with my DSLR, I'm generally not doing astronomical images (although I do some wide field night images) where all my data is cr…
